Liz Silva, Founder, Hamilton Bookkeeping, LLC
Liz Silva combined her BS in business Administration with over 20 years bookkeeping experience to establish Hamilton Bookkeeping in 2004. Liz’s background includes corporate controller, business manager, and office manager for small and medium sized businesses. Specifically she cleaned up bookkeeping messes and set up simple bookkeeping systems specific to each business.
Liz’s philosophy: accurate bookkeeping provides a business owner with a solid foundation to start, manage, and grow a business. However many business owners find they have neither the time nor the expertise to do the bookkeeping themselves. As a result, they often struggle with QuickBooks® problems and mounds of paperwork. Hamilton Bookkeeping’s unique 2-step process provides QuickBooks® setups, bookkeeping cleanups, maintenance, and QuickBooks® training. Using this system business owners gain control of the business, gain knowledge of what drives the business, and gain freedom to make better business decisions.
Liz is a Certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor, and a member of the American Association of Professional Bookkeepers. She is active in the Beverly Chamber of Commerce, Beverly BNI, Peabody Chamber of Commerce, North Shore Business Forum, BNI, and Innovative Business Networking.
Liz lives in Hamilton with her husband Jim and their 2 dogs. She enjoys gardening, reading, and raising backyard chickens. In her spare time she is an active volunteer for Beverly Kiwanis
Although she received her BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland, Jennifer has been a resident of Beverly for the past 15 years. She joined the Hamilton Bookkeeping team in December of 2015 and notes that her favorite part of her role here is working with a wide variety of businesses and creating solutions for their unique needs. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys boating and spending time near the ocean.
